I believe the Lord has given me new terminology to old truth.

Presence based leadership :- Spirit led leadership - many people have preconceived ideas of what Spirit led leadership is all about.

There is misunderstanding about what is truly ‘spirit led’ even amongst us Pentecostals.

Therefore Presence based leadership is a fresh perspective of what is true Spirit led leadership.

Presence based leadership brings great liberty, great freedom, great release.

Presence based leadership is leading from a Kingdom perspective. Presence based leadership is leadership that is led by & empowered by the Holy Spirit.

Joshua was a Presence based leader. King David, the Apostle Paul were all Presence based leaders.

The question begs to be answered ‘are the leaders we have today the same as the leaders we see in scripture’ – are they presence based leaders?

And to make it personal am ‘I’ that kind of leader?

Conversely - Performance based leadership brings great pressure - obviously to perform – leads to wrong motivation, leads to a wrong premise of what Kingdom leadership is all about & ultimately can lead to burnout – or worse.

Performance based leadership (or corporate leadership) is based on the leader.

Presence based leadership is based on the presence of and the leading of the Holy Spirit.
