In the beginning of 2005 while in worship I received a vision of a beach with an ebb tide, it was in fact low tide. The Lord spoke to me & said the tide has turned. I understood that over the last number of years the tide has been going out, even though we have had some big waves of the Spirit, they have come up the beach & bought tremendous refreshing, but the tide was going out. Now the tide has turned & we are on a rising tide. Waves will come & come up the beach but this time it is different because the tide is rising & soon will be full tide.

I pondered on this during the night asking how long a tide is. I felt that the Lord was saying a generation (approx 40 years) I thought well what happened 40 years ago. The Jesus movement where thousands were saved, healed & set free – churches burst with newness. I admit I got a little disappointed thinking it was going to take 40 years to reach another full tide but then felt reassured that there was increase all the way to the top with wave after wave breaking on the beach.

6 or 7 seven months later while in a prayer meeting this vision continued & I saw people frolicking on the beach – they had left their towels spread out on the beach & did not realize the tide was coming in. All of a sudden the tide was upon them & they were in knee high water trying to rescue their towels. The Lord indicated to me that there were going to be many that were caught out doing their own thing not realizing that the tide had started coming in (do you not perceive it). Even writing this I feel that there will be some who will suffer loss because they were unaware. The tide snuck up on them.
